ABOUT

Andrew Boudreau (piano), Levi Dover (double bass), Mark Nelson (drums)

Thank you Ian Hammond for Donating the Piano Tuning!

Montreal drummer Mark Nelson’s been featured as an exciting and propulsive sideman on more than a few fine albums and concerts that I’ve taken in over the last few years… – Peter Hum

Their newest recording, Postcard from the Cosmos, is an engaging collection of modern jazz compositions, each a sonic representation of beautiful and distant celestial wonders.

The composition “Kepler-13Ab” is a representation of what happens on this exciting exoplanet, where gaseous titanium dioxide absorbs starlight, eventually evaporates, and “snows” sunscreen!

“Sombrero Galaxy” mixes the feeling of the song “Jarabe tapatío”, also known as “Mexican Hat Dance”, with the twisted image of this galaxy.
