Nicole Ratté, a well-known jazz vocalist in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, pays tribute to one of her favorite composers, Michel Legrand. This is an invitation to dive into the repertoire of this fascinating and passionate artist who composed hundreds of songs and film scores, and who recorded more than 100 albums during his prolific career. You will hear many of Michel Legrand’s most beautiful songs as well as some lesser-known pieces that are just as delightful, whether in English or in French. Soft romantic songs will share the stage with energetic rhythms while a touch of humour will colour the whole performance.
