Join long-time friends Edra Silva, Deniz Lim-Sersan, Chris Pond and José Hernandez García for a wonderful night of jazz music. Watch and listen to how these young, masterful musicians blend new and old themes in the tradition of jazz, and how they put their own spin on some of the great classics.

Primary Colours:

Primary  Colours is a trio that builds from the traditions of jazz, with influences from modern acts like Robert Glasper, GoGo Penguin, Tigran Hamasyan and Herbie Hancock. Blending acoustic and electric elements, the trio flows between head-nodding grooves and soulful melodies, discovering the unexpected through their improvisational  virtuosity.  Featuring Deniz Lim-Sersan (piano), Chris Pond (bass), José Hernandez  García (drums)

Edra Silva:

A graduate of musical composition with a focus on singing, guitar and jazz improvisation, Edra Silva developed her musical career over the course of ten years in Santiago, Chile. There she played in various jazz  bands, participated in several notable jazz albums and also performed in a number of iconic festivals throughout Latin America.

In 2016, Edra  arrived in the United States and performed on the Princess Cruises fleet as the lead singer of the party band. In 2017 and 2018, she traveled to Australia and was part of the resident duo as a singer and guitarist on two cruises. In 2018, Edra Silva released her debut jazz EP "Intro". She is currently living in Ottawa and preparing a full-length record, a jazz-fusion work composed entirely of original compositions.
