Laura’s recording and touring quintet features Jonathan Chapman (double bass), Sam Kirmayer (guitar), Valérie Lacombe (drums), and Masashi Usui (tenor saxophone).
Laura Anglade is a young Montreal-based jazz vocalist currently making a name for herself on the Montreal scene and beyond. Originally from a small village in the south of France and raised in Connecticut, Laura is influenced by her parents’ gypsy jazz and classical backgrounds. At just 23 years old, she has made a big impression on the Montreal jazz scene within the last couple of years. She has performed in a number of jazz festivals in the region including the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal in 2017. Last year, Laura appeared at The Prince Edward County Jazz Festival and Merrickville’s Jazz Fest where she was an unqualified hit. She also performs regularly at…
