GigSpace is pleased to present three of Ottawa’s premier jazz musicians in an intimate Ottawa Jazz Festival concert. Steve Boudreau, John Geggie and Michel Delage each spent time writing music during the quieter stretches of the pandemic. The trio eventually presented a livestream concert from GigSpace in 2021 featuring many of these original compositions. This in turn inspired them to work towards the creation of a new recording featuring an equal amount of original music from all three of these accomplished artists. The pieces they brought to the project were composed with each other's unique voices on their respective instruments very much in mind. They plan to record this new album sometime in late 2022 for release the following year. Steve, John and Michel's previous collaboration was on the album Preludes, which features Steve's original music as well as arrangements of a selection of favourite pieces by the great George Gershwin.
